January Group Exercise
Happy New Year to you all
I’ve decided to treat this blog as an update which I’ll keep adding bits to over the next few days
Group Exercise Classes
There’s been a few changes with last minute venue confirmations and time changes etc.
So here’s a summary, sessions not shown continue as previous – see timetable
Mondays
The Fitness Class launches tomorrow at the Manor Rooms, in Trowse. The venue is just past the pub on the bend and almost opposite the Cafe. Look out for an A frame poster outside the black door.
This class replaces the Body Conditioning Session formerly at Caistor Hall. Pre-booking is strongly recommended as I’ve had to limit numbers.
Thai-Bo is back in Norwich!
The intensive late evening class starts on Monday Jan 16th from 8-8.45pm |£4
The venue is the Norwich Judo Club/ Community Centre at Heathgate. There’s new washable glove liners too, so plenty of musical pad punching and kicking!
Thursdays: Norwich Kettlebells
The Thursday night session returns once more to Elite Strength & Conditioning, off Britannia road. The session(s) start a little later at 7.30pm-8pm with the option of doing a full hour from 7.30-8.30pm. Beginners will benefit from 30mins as starting out with Kettlebells for the first time is often felt the next day or three..
Bootcamp Sessions
Below is a list of the regular Bootcamp sessions that take place indoors & outdoors. The Saturday session is back to the optional 90mins or just 1 hour.
Tuesdays: 6-6.40pm Norwich | £4
Thursdays 07.00-07.30am Norwich |£3.50
Saturdays 07.00/07.30-08.30am Norwich |£6/£5
TFI Fridays @ Iceni Warriors
The very intensive Friday workout is back a few doors up from the usual venue. Parking is still permitted in the tyre garage car park at the corner opposite the Waterfront Music venue. The new venue is practically opposite Dragon hall at 120a Kings street. It’s undergoing refurbishment & boasts changing rooms plus an indoor toilet unlike the ‘rustic’ wc of the previous venue! So in short, Plenty of space and still a great way to fire up your weekend. Beginners are welcome but should expect a very, very tough workout. Map link
Nordic Walking Sessions
I recently qualified as a Nordic Walking Instructor and intend to get small group sessions out & about by next month. For now I’m planning routes, buying equipment, putting the website together etc in preparation for a February launch.
Nordic Walking is.. Outdoors, suitable for all fitness levels and very sociable!
Have a gander at the Nordic Walking UK website and let me know if it’s something that would interest you.
